#196 – No More SAFe

We’re starting to see more and more AgileBS Consultancies claim that their so-called “agile integrity” simply won’t allow them to sell SAFe services to their customers. We can respect that they have a professional standpoint, but if the prospect of money from an interesting customer engagement makes them compromise this standpoint, their stance is nothing but a pitiful attempt to win the recognition of the agile community.

So, we urge the small and big agile consultancies out there to stop selling specific agile frameworks to clients (or transformations), but instead ways of overcoming their challenges. Do it by cherry picking practices from the different frameworks (e.g., PI Planning from SAFe and the Feature Team Adoption Map from LeSS), and you can be aligned with your integrity and act agnostically and pragmatically with the client.
